Giclée Print Information

All fine art prints of “Fireweed” are printed using pigment archival inks on smooth matte paper.

  • Each print has a one inch border (Making the total dimensions of the paper 2 inches larger than listed in height and width).
  • Each print is titled and signed in pencil by the artist on the bottom border.
  • Paper prints do not have UV protection and should be framed behind glass.

Frames and mats are not included.

Colours may appear slightly different on different monitors.

Shipping Information:

Prints 16” x 20” and smaller are shipped in a flat cardboard mailer.

Prints larger than 16” x 20” are rolled and shipped in a Kraft tube.

“Fireweed” was created in the fall of 2024 and is one of several large watercolour paintings from the collection “Awakenings”.

It was painted after a forest fire in the area prompted an emergency evacuation of the artist’s hometown of Labrador City, NL, Canada.

“Fireweed is admired for its resiliency, usefulness and beauty. It was one of the first plant species to grow in the burnt out area. This painting is a tribute to life after destruction.”

This piece was exhibited at the Labrador West Arts & Culture Centre from November 2024 – January 2025. The original has been sold.
